Subsequently, David Redman (SWSP) was appointed to chair the special Election Committee, and Chairman Redman may be contacted at (856) 459-8007 and/or at beccandrew@msn.com.  Upon Chairman Redman’s recommendation, Reinaldo Moll (ADTC), Gerard Caldarise (NSP), and Sean Asay (Parole) were appointed to the Election Committee.

As a result of the nominations, there will be no election held for the respective offices of President, Executive Vice President, Secretary, Sgt.-at-Arms, and Chiefs’ Representative; for the bylaws provide, “Where there is but one (1) nominee for a particular elected office, that sole nominee shall be declared elected to the office to which he or she has been duly nominated.”  In addition, there will be no election held for the position of Parole Representative, as no one was so nominated.  However, the Election Committee will conduct a secret-ballot election by mail for the Office of Treasurer or contract with the American Arbitration Association to conduct the election on its behalf.  The Election Committee has decided that the American Arbitration Association will conduct the election.

On Monday, March 1, 2010, the American Arbitration Association will mail out ballot packages to all who were active members in good standing at the time of nominations; yet, to be tallied, ballots must be received by the American Arbitration Association no later than 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 19, 2010.  Any member so eligible to vote in the election who does not receive a ballot package by Wednesday, March 10, 2010, or who would like to file a challenge or appeal relevant to the election or its manner of conduct must contact Chairman Redman at (856) 459-8007 and/or at beccandrew@msn.com.

Please be advised that the bylaws further provide:

“Any challenge or appeal relating to any election or its manner of conduct shall be submitted in writing to the special Election Committee within seven (7) calendar days of the election certification.  Failure to do so shall constitute an implicit waiver of any defect therein.”

Any challenge or appeal relevant to the election or its manner of conduct must be submitted in writing as follows:
